Getting pregnant again or getting pregnant for the first time over the age of 40 is risky which results to miscarriage and danger on the health of the mother. But there are some women who went through their pregnancy full term and gave birth successfully to a healthy child either by caesarian section or normal birth.

My husband and I have planned to have another child, my fourth. So, I searched online what’s the risk of getting pregnant again past the age of 40, and came up with celebrities that got pregnant again after the age of 40.

This hub is the list of celebrities who gave birth in their 40s. Some opted in-vitro fertilization attempts; others had a miscarriage; while others were successful in giving birth.

Thanks for dropping by. I know you are inspired by this hub. I hope it's not too late for you to have one.

As for me, I'm planning to have another child (my 4th) at the age of 43(I'm 40 now) and I hope that it won't be risky on my health and the health of my child.

Thank you for this hub...very inspirational for those of us who are still entertaining the idea of conceiving after 40. I constantly get, "OMG! You can't be serious?" "Why would you do that? That's just crazy! You should be traveling and enjoying life?" A lot of critics..but I guess to each their own, right? Yup, my friends think I'm crazy. :)

bladesofgrass - Thanks for your comment.

My 3rd child was born when I was 37 and my husband and I planned to have one more when my child turns 5 and my age by that time would be 42. So, I researched about getting preggy at age 40+ and posted this hub.

Happy 19 months ago

I have just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant and I'm 41, will be 42 when I give birth. This is my third child and it took me eight months to conceive which is slightly longer than it took with my first two who I had when I was 35 and 37, and they took two months to conceive. Eight months wasn't such a long time when I didn't think it would even happen at all :-)

Happy - As your username "Happy" suggests, I can sense that you are indeed happy having a successful third pregnancy. I hope all is well until you finally give birth.

Thanks for reading and sharing your experience.

I am expecting my second baby and I am 40 (will be almost 41 by due date). It took nine months which was longer than my first pregnancy (conceived first try at age 37). I just think your fertility is down to three factors; lifestyle, luck and genes. My mother had a baby at 43.
